THE CHALLENGE
DBpixelhouse had the challenge of working with numerous design agencies to supply and run cutting-edge AV solutions for several high-profile exhibitors. Supplying more than 15 exhibition stands at the show, it was essential to create a support infrastructure to ensure we delivered exceptional customer service to all our clients.
The Solution
A team of AV production specialists was led by an onsite Project Manager to ensure we maintained around the clock support for our customers during the rig, show and de-rig periods.
DBpixelhouse established a technical service centre within the RAI, from where our operation was run, and a comprehensive stock of spares was kept ensuring we maintained 100% up time for our clients.
The Result
One of the exhibition design agencies we worked with at IBC is the Astound Group, where we supplied AV & IT technology for Shutterstock’s stand.
The main feature of the space was an irregular shaped video wall, made up of seven individual screens. The wall attracted a lot of attention acting as a catalyst for conversation with people visiting the stand. As well as supplying the tech for the wall, DB also managed Shutterstock’s content, ensuring it was scaled properly and mapped across the screens—no mean feat considering there were numerous video files playing back over a non-standard playback surface. DBpixelhouse also supplied AV tech for Shure, BT and Bitmovin, where we also provided tech for their on-stand meeting room.
What do our clients say?
“It was great to catch up with DBpixelhouse when we visited Amsterdam. IBC is one of the most tech-centric shows in the event calendar, with all the global players in the broadcast industry showing off their latest tech and content. All the AV supplied by DBpixelhouse looked stunning in use and clearly helped exhibitors connect with their audience. The irregular shaped video wall on the Shutterstock stand really stood out to me as an innovative and unexpected use of AV that created a lasting impression.”
