THE CHALLENGE
The live music festival stage was the centrepiece of The West Fan Village, Twickenham Stadium, it was alive with family entertainment throughout the day, including a live stream of headline act Craig David and the big match itself! The fan zone is an area where visiting fans, new and old, have a unique event day experience, where a buzz is created, building excitement and anticipation for the match ahead.
The Solution
To facilitate live replay, advertising and fan zone messaging, we provided two of our high resolution 28m2 mobile LED trailer units, along with dedicated installation and operational support.
Flanking the main stage these two high specification screens provided the fans with high quality and pixel perfect imagery to watch all the live entertainment in full HD. Being fast to deploy and with exceptional picture quality these screens are ideal for Fan Zones at all sorts of sporting and cultural events.
The Result
The aim of the Big Summer Kick Off was to support Harlequins key pillar of growth of the Club.
Laurie Dalrymple, Chief Executive explained: “First and foremost, we are incredibly happy that so many supporters were able to enjoy a packed day of entertainment and rugby, bathed in sunshine, and surrounded by our local community on and off the pitches,” he said. “Big Summer Kick-Off delivered a spectacular full day of events and is helping showcase the very best of club rugby!” We were enormously proud to provide our screen and services to The Sports Presentation Agency and Harlequins, enabling them to create an event that has been celebrated across the rugby community.
