THE CHALLENGE
They were looking for a solution whereby they could stream & edit their output in a live environment, with excellent quality output. What they wanted was a simple, flexible system that gave a professional output. After a site visit to really understand their situation, including the Abbey being a Listed Building, we designed a simple to use solution for them.
The Solution
Our solution involved 3 portable, remote controlled, PTZ cameras with a portable production unit (PPU).
They key was making it simple to use, with an emphasis on preprogramed presets. This set up means that the system can be used by anyone after a quick training session. DB also provided a simple user guide and ongoing technical support. An added benefit of not having a static, fixed system is the flexibility to use the equipment in multiple locations for different event types, something the Abbey has been utilising fully.
The Result
The result is professional streamed multi camera production at very good value.
The Abbey has since been producing multiple productions without recourse to involving DB technicians. Services have been streamed live and also the Abbey have been producing edited versions.
